Orthopedics, traumatology sports medicine and pain management are some of the most common conditions acupuncturists will see as clinical practitioners. In this course, students will learn to diagnose musculoskeletal complaints and treat them using acupuncture, manual therapies, exercise and herbal interventions.
This class, originally given to Doctorate (DAOM) level students only, is now available, sharing Dr. Chu’s vast experience in treating cases like these.  The class contains a free 100 + page supplement on Western Trauma/Orthopedic cases (emailed to you when registered).
Upon completion of this course students will become familiar with treating common orthopedic problems in the clinic with Master Tung Acupuncture, Herbal preparations (Internal and external), Tui Na, Cupping, Lotions, and wraps.
Instructor Information
Robert Chu is a Licensed Acupuncturist and Herbalist, specializing in the Master Tung painless Acupuncture methods in which he effectively treats pain, neuromusculoskeletal disorders, and a wide variety of internal diseases including high blood pressure, high cholesterol, diabetes, gynecological disorders, Parkinson’s Disease and side-effects from cancer treatments. He is appointed by the Industrial Medical Council as a Qualified Medical Evaluator (QME).
